David Mallett
Founder & Managing Director

David Mallett is a proud Ngarrindjeri man, veteran, and accomplished business leader with a passion for driving meaningful change. He began his career in the Australian Special Forces, serving as a Navy Clearance Diver and Special Operations Sniper, where he developed exceptional leadership, operational, and strategic skills.

David is also the Founder and Managing Director of Yanun Project Services, an award-winning consultancy delivering complex projects across diverse sectors. Building on this foundation, he established Yari Supply to create new pathways for Indigenous participation in supply chains, supporting tier-one contractors and defence industries across Australia.

David is deeply committed to fostering genuine partnerships and empowering the next generation of Indigenous professionals through sustainable economic opportunities.

Zoe Detmold
CEO, Detmold Ventures

Zoe Detmold is the founder and CEO of Detmold Ventures, founded in 2017 to drive innovation and entrepreneurial growth alongside her family’s business, the Detmold Group. Under her leadership, Detmold Ventures has become a launchpad for new ideas, technologies, and sustainable solutions across the packaging and adjacent industries.

A seasoned business growth specialist, Zoe brings global experience and a strong sense of legacy to her role, championing future-focused, environmentally responsible business models. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Detmold Group, a global packaging leader with operations in 17 countries.

Jessica MacDonald
Head of Strategy and Growth

Jessica is a decisive leader with a proven track record of driving strategic direction and inspiring teams to achieve excellence. With a background in architecture, she is passionate about fostering innovation, value creation, and diversity within the construction, mining, and defence industries.

Jessica has a demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, build strategic partnerships, and deliver client-focused outcomes. Her creative and lateral approach to problem-solving, coupled with her leadership in community and industry initiatives, has earned her multiple accolades, including the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) 2024 National President’s Award and recognition in InDaily’s 40 Under 40.

A champion for change, Jessica is committed to shaping a sustainable and inclusive future for the industry by leveraging her expertise, relationships, and dedication to continuous growth.

Jacob Speed
GM, Detmold Sourcing

Jacob Speed is an experienced General Manager who has spent more than two decades in logistics, operations, sales, supply chain, and procurement & sourcing and has led multi-disciplinary teams in Australia and abroad.

Jacob has tertiary qualifications in Finance, Psychology and Management, is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and has spend the last 18 years working with the Detmold Group and its customers and suppliers to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and positive change in the complex world of packaging.
